Open SQL Server Management Studio

  1. Once connected to the EC2 instance Remote Desktop session, open SQL Server Management Studio from the Taskbar.

    Find the SQL Server Management Studio

  2. Use the following values to connect to your source database.

    ParameterValue
    Server TypeDatabase Engine
    Server Namelocalhost
    AuthorizationWindows Authentication

    Enter the information

  3. After the you see the test status as Successful, click Connect. Your window should look like below.

    Result screen
